Michael Brown has agreed terms to ride for the Sherco Factory and MRS for the next two seasons. His main focus will be the world outdoor series and the British championship as well as the usual Scottish six day, the Scott and selected national events. He was presented to the press at the Sherco extravaganza on Saturday night in front of a packed audience which included Sherco boss Marc Teissier and the Sherco M.R.S trials team. He will ride the two-stroke Sherco from the 1st of January 2009 and will be assisted by usual minder Shaughan in all British championship rounds and the majority of the world outdoor series.
Speaking about the new deal Michael commented “I am very happy to have agreed a deal with Sherco for the next two seasons. Both the Sherco factory and MRS have put there trust in me as a rider and for this I am very grateful and I will give it 100%. After ten years with Beta a new bike and a new team is very exciting for me and I cannot wait for the new season to begin. I would like to take this opportunity to thank John lampkin of Beta UK for supporting me for the last ten years, also the top trial team of Italy who have looked after me abroad for the last three years and have been like a second family to me. I wish them all the best for the future."
